[CHIC] will have 15 boards on the venue to advertise. They will be located in a place where everyone can see them from any point in the location.
Each board is 7.5m wide and 5.5 m tall, and are exclusively placed for designers in the venue.
If you would like to add your logo, info notecard and landmark to the board, the cost is L$2000 per ad for the 3 week event.
There will be 3 giant boards (20 X10 ) that have a premium location, around the venue, they are easy to see from anywhere too. Cost is L$10,000 for the 3 week event. That includes one complimentary ad for the September issue of BOSL en Español (inworld and online publication)
Ads are also available for BOSL en Espanol Magazine. We publish on the 15th of each month. Next issue is September. It is a great way to let people know your brand will be on the event. Magazine is also online @

On behalf of Truth Hawks, CHIC Management is spreading the word on a short campaign to raise money for UNICEF’s current Pakistan Flood Crises Fund.
Truth is asking for designers to put an item out with part of the profits (any percentage) going to the charity. (Vendors provided upon request). The period of time will be from the 4th to the 19th of September 2010.
These items do not need to be new, although exclusive, exisiting, discounted, any items you are willing to offer will be welcomed! Please note that if your item is set up at the sim venue your mainstore lm should be included in the item, and your logo or brand name should be on the advert as seperate prims for lm dispensers will not be permitted at the venue.
Truth believes passionately in UNICEFs immediate response to each individual world crisis, and would love for you to join this campaign to raise money. He personally will be donating 100% profits of a hairstyle, and then doubling whatever money he raises with that hairstyle towards the cause.
He has said he will advertise the fund and the venue provided for designers to sell their items in in his update group for TRUTH (30000 members), and of course I will be enlisting the help of bloggers and designers to help spread the word.
Truth is offering a sim venue for people to sell their items but encourages them to sell them in their mainstores also.
The account that will collect the proceeds is Unicef Rainfall and Truth is willing to provide full records of transaction to the charity if necessary after the event.

The Call for Couture Event is the newest event brought to you by CHIC Management, the event planning company that brought you the Black and Blue Fair (June 2010), the Summer of Love Fair (July 2010) and the Platinum Hunt (August 2010).
It will take place between October 10th and October 31st at an undisclosed location! (Click a CHIC Subscribomatic and we will deliver the Landmark right to you once we’re open.)
It will include 185 brands showcasing new and exclusive items. Not only that but as WELL as that we will have approximately 140 auction items available to bid on. The winning bid at the end of the three weeks will be split in half, 50% going to UK registered charity The Samaritans. (www.samaritans.org Reg charity number: 219432). Designers will be playing with the relationship between couture (auction items) and pret-a-porter (the new exclusive releases that will be available for you to buy!)
The auction items will be showcased in three fashion shows (dates and location to be announced too!). These shows will be filmed and broadcast on Best of SL en Espanol’s website for you to watch any time with commentary. (www.ThaliaHeckroth.com)

THIS EVENT IS NOT TO RAISE MONEY FOR CHARITY. IT IS TO RAISE AWARENESS. ALL PROFITS GO TO THE DESIGNERS. However designers are encouraged to donate some of their profits to Hopeline. Secondly though, there will be information about all sorts of mental health issues and illnesses throughout the venue. Mostly these will be visual aids around the precious couture so that people don’t have to read huge chunks of text. The main purpose of the fair is to de-stigmatise mental health issues. A lot of people in Second Life have unhappy “real lives”… for whatever reason. Some of us are unwell, disabled, depressed and other people are just lonely or don’t like who they think they are; but no one is alone and in SL we can be ourselves. So don’t let it beat you black and blue… couture can help!

This is to help make the information about mental health issues a more prominent part of the shoppers experience.
Inside the venue there are 17 question marks. These dispense information about a variety of mental health issues… but to make sure people notice them we decided to sneak freebies in too.
